l Presented technical lecture to 60+ MBA and undergraduate students on initial funding sources and options for start-up businesses model. Prepared MS-PowerPoint slideshow, generated cash flow and pro forma samples, resource listing and government funding publications. Materials utilized by participants of the Ain competition to develop the funding and financial model for their business concept.

Challenged to increase small business enterprises on Main Street, initiate village revitalization activities, serve on town/village municipal boards, manage annual LDC budget, write articles for local papers, and resolve business owners' business challenges. Reported directly to the LDC board, village mayor and town supervisor.
l Innovated and launched the Victor Small Business Awards Program to provide recognition to local Victor businesses. First event, May 2005 with 200 in attendance. Winners recommended for the national SBA Small Business Awards Program.
l Wrote initial Façade Improvement document utilized to craft final board policy which was launched and funded for $15K.

Provide confidential business consultation to small business entrepreneurs accepted into the NYS Self Employment Assistance Program within a four county region; plan and deliver educational business workshops, interface with economic development resources, outreach to professional organizations, provide public presentations, resource solutions to business quandaries.
l Awarded the SBDC Disaster Phoenix Team recognition award for onsite work contributed during the September 11th disaster recovery effort in October, 2001. Secured $550K in SBA Economic Disaster Injury Loans within a five day work week.
l Delivered twenty-two small business workshops on marketing, business plan development, cash flow planning and government contracting within a four month period. Trained nearly 400 participants within that period.
l Won NYS Adviser of the Year-2nd runner-up, selected from 213 certified business advisers in New York State.

l Wrote and delivered Fast Cash for Kids; Money in Your Pocket Youth entrepreneurship program to fourth and fifth graders. Program was funded through a grant from the Department of Justice; Weed and Seed program. 35 students participated.
l Planned, coordinated and executed the QVC 50/50 Tour in Syracuse. Responsible for securing 310 entrepreneurs of which 25 received an invitation to showcase their products on the QVC cable network television show.
